Phil Douglas
Quality Assurance/ Operations Data Analyst

Phil Douglas is a Paramedic who began his EMS career at the age of 16 as a dispatcher for one of the last funeral home-based ambulance services in Georgia. This opportunity arose out of a Scouting Explorer program ride-along and the rest is history. Phil knew at the age of 10 he wanted to be a Paramedic.  The TV show Emergency was his favorite!

Phil has served in most every capacity in the operation of an ambulance service in his almost 40-year EMS career. Phil has served as a Dispatcher,  EMT, Paramedic, Field Ops Supervisor, Manager, Senior Manager, Billing Manager, HR Manager, and owner of a small family- oriented ambulance service. He has gained incredible experience with small locally owned companies and large corporate entities, but he credits so much to the early days of the local funeral home where customer service was a priority.

In his personal life, Phil enjoys camping and boating on Lake Lanier, and active participation in Scouting as an Assistant Scoutmaster.  Phil has remained active in Scouting most of his life and is a proud Eagle Scout.
